It was attended by the heads of the State Museum of the History of Uzbekistan, the Committee on Religious Affairs, Imam Bukhari, Imam Termizi, and Imam Moturidi international research centers, as well as representatives of the Muslim Board of Uzbekistan.
The participants focused on the mahogany paintings that will be placed in the lobby of the Center for Islamic Civilization.
The issue of reflecting images of great representatives of the Islamic world – Abu Mansur Moturidi, Abu Muin Nasafi, Kaffol Shashi, Abullais Samarqandi – in future exhibition was considered during the discussions.
Currently, the Uzbekistan Arts Academy staff and famous artists are conducting research in this direction.
The need to pay special attention to the contribution of outstanding historical figures not only to the scientific and cultural development of Uzbekistan, but also of the whole world, was also emphasized at the meeting.
It is planned to organize sections reflecting their activities from the era of the First Renaissance to the 20th century.
According to the Center for Islamic Civilization in Uzbekistan, creating images of such great personalities as Imam Bukhari, Imam Termizi, Abu Ali ibn Sina, Abu Rayhan Beruni, Bahauddin Naqshband, Jalaliddin Manguberdi, Amir Temur, Mirzo Ulugbek, Alisher Navoi, and Zahiriddin Muhammad Babur continues.
