TASHKENT, May 5. /“Dunyo” IA/. A meeting of the working group on the construction of Uzbekistan – Kyrgyzstan – China railway has taken place via videoconference, reports “Dunyo” IA correspondent.
The event was attended by the Deputy Minister of Transport of Uzbekistan Abdusamat Muminov, Minister of Transport, Architecture, Construction and Communications of Kyrgyzstan Gulmira Abdralieva and Deputy Director General of the Department of Foreign Capital and Overseas Investment of the National Development and Reform Commission of China Zheng Chiping.
The parties considered the model presented by China for financing the project, coordinating routes and field research, developing a tripartite action plan for 2021.
The need was noted for searching for a consensus in resolving the issue of financing the project and, first of all, determining the routes of railway construction.
The coordination of the railway route and the conduction of field research work were announced after the stabilization of the epidemiological situation, in agreement with the technical working group.
