According to the press service of the Head of state, this monument was erected on the 30th Anniversary of the country’s Independence on the idea of the President in honor of the Motherland, the country’s brave, peaceful, and hardworking people and their exploits. It has become a tradition to lay flowers at it on the occasion of significant events and during the visits of foreign delegations.
Representatives of the Legislative Chamber and the Senate of the Oliy Majlis, the Presidential Administration, ministries and agencies, and the public of Tashkent took part in the ceremony and laid flowers at the monument.
