The President of Uzbekistan holds an informal meeting with the President of the European Council

On April 2, the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Shavkat Mirziyoyev, held an informal meeting with the President of the European Council, António Costa.

The high-level EU representative arrived in Uzbekistan earlier today and visited the city of Bukhara, where he became acquainted with the country’s rich cultural and historical heritage.

Views were exchanged on pressing issues on the bilateral and regional agenda.

Preparations for the upcoming first summit in the “Central Asia – European Union” format were discussed.
