Shavkat Mirziyoyev
Shavkat Mirziyoyev currently serves as the President of Uzbekistan. Since he took office in 2016, he has introduced significant reforms across the political, economic, and social sectors. The Head of State noted with satisfaction the traditionally high interest of Chinese business in Uzbekistan. Only last year, investment volume exceeded billion.
At the meeting, prospects for implementing cooperation projects in various fields, including energy, geology, agriculture, water management, the chemical and jewelry industries, modernization of public transport, infrastructure development, and tourism, were discussed.
