Deputy Minister of Construction of Uzbekistan Erkin Iskandarov has held negotiations with the heads of leading British universities – the Welsh School of Architecture, Chris Tweed, and the School of Engineering, Cardiff University, Jianzhong Wu.
The parties discussed issues of establishing cooperation between specialized universities, the implementation of joint educational and research projects in the architectural and construction industry.
Highly assessing the potential for developing cooperation with Uzbekistan in education, the heads of British universities confirmed their readiness to establish practical cooperation with relevant Uzbekistan universities.
Following the negotiations, an agreement was reached on creation of a special working group from among the representatives of the involved universities of the two countries for a substantive discussion of the proposals and initiatives.
