TASHKENT, January 20. /“Dunyo” IA/. Yesterday, Chairman of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry Adham Ikramov met with Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Arab Republic of Egypt to Uzbekistan Amira Fahmy, reports “Dunyo” IA correspondent with reference to the Press Service of the CCI.
The meeting was also attended by the First Secretary of the Embassy of Egypt in Uzbekistan Khalid Fekri and Deputy Chairman of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry Fariz Usmanov.
At the meeting, the parties discussed issues of further strengthening trade-economic and investment cooperation between the two countries, organizing B2B meetings. The Chamber of Commerce and Industry also proposed to organize the First Meeting of the Business Council in connection with the upcoming visit of Egypt businesspeople delegation to Uzbekistan.
It was noted that the organization of virtual meetings with the participation of businesspeople and the achievement of agreements is one of the foundations for further strengthening economic relations between the two countries.
