BAKU, November 20. /“Dunyo” IA/. On November 18, Embassy of Uzbekistan in Azerbaijan has held a virtual meeting with the CEO of Azerbaijan Investment Holding (AIH) Ruslan Alikhanov, reports “Dunyo” IA correspondent.
The AIH CEO was informed about the efforts of the Government to increase the attractiveness of the country for potential foreign investors.
At the meeting, presentation of AIH was also held.
In the context of development of bilateral relations, the AIH CEO agreed with the opinion that the current indicators of trade, economic and investment cooperation do not reflect the full potential of the two countries. In this regard, the need was noted for intensifying activities to build up mutually beneficial ties in this direction.
Along with this, Ruslan Alikhanov welcomed the intentions of the Uzbek side to actively use the transport and transit potential of Azerbaijan and assured that the AIH will take all necessary measures to assist in practical implementation of the plans.
Following the meeting, the parties agreed to establish partnership between Uzbekistan State Asset Management Agency and AIH, as well as to organize a videoconference between the two structures.
