Promising areas of economic cooperation between Uzbekistan and India discussed in Delhi

DELHI, November 12. /Dunyo IA/. Embassy of Uzbekistan in India hosted a meeting with Managing Director of Curis Pharmaceuticals, Adil Abdul, reports “Dunyo” IA correspondent.

At the meeting, the parties discussed the work carried out in Uzbekistan to develop the pharmaceutical industry, improve the supply of the population with high-quality, effective and safe medicinal products, the advantages and opportunities created for manufacturers. In this regard, the Indian businessman was informed in detail about the pharmaceutical free economic zones operating in Uzbekistan.

Adil Abdul positively assessed the existing conditions and said that he would study the implementation of a project for production of medicines in one of the aforementioned pharmaceutical FEZs.

In addition, the representative of the Indian company noted that there is huge potential in other areas of economic cooperation between the two countries, including the export of handicrafts not only to India, but also to the Middle East, and in tourism.
