TASHKENT, April 23. /“Dunyo” IA/. “Zamin” International Public Fund is established as a non-government, non-profit organization in Uzbekistan. The Fund will assist the sustainable development of the country and improve the well-being of the citizens, informs “Dunyo” IA correspondent.

“Zamin” Fund established with the focus on long-term, strategically important and sustainable projects. Main financial sources will include charitable donations from individuals and legal entities as well as grants of international organizations. Fund is aimed at implementing a number of projects in such areas as environmental protection, development of education for children with hearing impairment, as well as the introduction of innovative technologies in the social sphere.

Circumstances, however, make their own rules. Considering the fact that the help is needed, fund trustees decided to make a positive impact. Thus, funds raised on projects, were streamlined to benefit women and families in need. Charitable funds totaling 5 billion soums were distributed among five thousand women in need in all regions of Uzbekistan.

“May this safe and timely help give hope to those who found themselves in ordeal at difficult times, warmth, joy and a smile to their families and loved ones during the celebration of Ramadan - the holy month of kindness and mercy,” commented Ziroat Mirziyoyeva, Chairman of the Board of Trustees.

This year, mercy and help toward those in need in light of ongoing pandemic, has never been more needed, allowing the nation of Uzbekistan to come together and go through the challenges. United, we can overcome the hardship.
