Uzbekistan’s Deputy Prime Minister meets with the Chief of Army Staff of Pakistan

The parties stressed the high level of strategic partnership between the two countries and expressed their readiness for further interaction to strengthen cooperation in order to ensure security and stability in the region, the Ministry of Investments and Foreign Trade of Uzbekistan reports.

 

Opportunities for enhancing investment cooperation were considered and further steps were discussed to form firm agreements on the implementation of projects in promising industries.

 

An agreement was reached on further expansion of Uzbekistan – Pakistan cooperation on countering the coronavirus pandemic and ensuring public health.
