Uzbekistan Deputy Prime Minister and UAE Minister of Cabinet Affairs and the Future discussed prospects for cooperation in improving the efficiency of public administration

TASHKENT, November 11. /Dunyo IA/. Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Investments and Foreign Trade Sardor Umurzakov has met with the Minister of Cabinet Affairs and the Future of the United Arab Emirates Mohammad bin Abdullah Al Gergawi, reports “Dunyo” IA correspondent.

According to the Ministry of Investments and Foreign Trade of Uzbekistan, the meeting was devoted to studying the progress of multifaceted cooperation in improving the efficiency of public administration and implementation of relevant roadmaps in 25 directions.

The parties also discussed the possibilities for enhancing cooperation in the investment sphere by attracting investment corporations of the UAE to implement projects in priority sectors of Uzbekistan’s economy.

Special attention was paid to the issues of interaction in healthcare and ensuring the protection of public health during the pandemic. The UAE side expressed its readiness to assist in attracting leading profile companies of the UAE to work for improving the efficiency of management of medical institutions in Uzbekistan.

Following the meeting, an agreement was reached on organizing a visit to Uzbekistan of an Emirati delegation led by the Minister of Cabinet Affairs and the Future Mohammad bin Abdullah Al Gergawi by the end of this year.
