TASHKENT, February 6. /“Dunyo” IA/. Yesterday, after the Session of the Council of People's Deputies, the President visited Shodiyona mahalla in Fergana, reports “Dunyo” IA correspondent.
According to the Press Service of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, he walked around the mahalla and met with residents.
“Today we have appointed a new hokim in your region. We are implementing a system of work in the context of mahallas. I came to your mahalla to learn the real situation and to ease people's concerns”, Shavkat Mirziyoyev said in a conversation with women.
One of the women told about the wedding of her son to be celebrated tomorrow. The President congratulated them and wished happiness and health to a young family.
Overjoyed by the unexpected visit, residents wished the Head of the state good health, peace and prosperity to our people.
The President walked across Amir Temur Street, examined houses and trade centers.
Shavkat Mirziyoyev also visited the mahalla committee, talked with the Chairman and advisers, asked them about people’s living conditions, and problems. Responsible officials were given instructions for eliminating the shortcomings.
