/"Dunyo" IA/. Yesterday, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan Bakhtiyor Saidov had a phone conversation with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Cyprus Constantinos Kombos, reports "Dunyo" IA correspondent.
"Glad to have a phone conversation with H.E. Constantinos Kombos, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Cyprus, – wrote the head of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan on his telegram channel. – Appreciate the stable and growing dialogue between our Governments. We underscored the readiness to further expand and strengthen Uzbekistan-Cyprus collaboration bilaterally and within the European Union".
It is worth recalling that the foreign ministers of Uzbekistan and Cyprus, in September 2023 on the sidelines of the 78th session of the UN General Assembly in New York City, held negotiations at which they discussed the implementation of existing potential in Uzbekistan-Cyprus relations, expanding the legal framework of cooperation, political consultations between ministries of foreign affairs, enhancing interparliamentary dialogue.
