President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Supreme Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces Shavkat Mirziyoyev visited a military unit in Denau district near the South-West Special Military District.
In accordance with the instructions of the Head of the state, radical improvement of the staffs and personnel of all military units and institutions of the Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Uzbekistan is carried out.
This unit has been operating since 2018 as part of a mixed military unit. Here conscripts are trained in 21 specialties.
All conditions are created in the unit for military personnel. A three-story educational building has been erected, where more than 500 military personnel, 6 dormitories, a modern sports complex and a canteen can simultaneously conduct theoretical and practical exercises.
Specific work in the military unit is also carried out within the framework of Five initiatives forwarded by the President. During the visit, information was provided about this. Therefore, all conditions are created for the military personnel in computer classes and the library to acquire modern knowledge and skills, to constantly work on themselves.
The Ministry of Defense and the regional military-administrative sector pay special attention to family members of military personnel. This year, four multi-storey buildings with 64 apartments, a non-governmental kindergarten were built on the territory of the military camp.
The Head of the state became familiar with conditions created in the military unit, new departments, and the training process for soldiers and officers.
On the parade ground, the Supreme Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces was demonstrated exercises reflecting the combat training of conscripts. The President examined samples of military equipment and weapons.
The President was informed about projects on modern equipment of the military units of the South-West Special Military District, improvement of the command and control system, social protection of military personnel and their families, automation of the educational process and combat training in this military unit.
“The military personnel should be highly spiritual sons of our people. To do this, it is necessary to increase the spiritual level, combat training of personnel. Always remember that you are descendants of Amir Temur, Jaloliddin Manguberdi and other great ancestors, serve with dignity, then the youth will take from you an example of patriotism, devotion to the Motherland”, said Shavkat Mirziyoyev.
The President noted the need for further increasing the combat readiness of soldiers and officers, accelerating work on improving living and recreation conditions, providing housing, for which the activities of military commanders at places and military-administrative sectors should be further improved.
Instructions were given for improving the system of military construction, development of a program for increasing the spirituality of military personnel.
