TASHKENT, November 13. /Dunyo IA/. President Shavkat Mirziyoyev visited the Youth Center in the city of Karshi and examined the conditions created at the center, reports “Dunyo” IA correspondent.

According to the Press Service of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, a meeting has been held with representatives of the younger generation in Kashkadarya.

“I’m here to talk openly and sincerely with you. I would like, of course, to meet with all the youth. As youth representatives, you can talk about problems, the dreams of your peers. So speak freely, without fear, as if you are talking to your parents”, said the Head of the state.

An open conversation took place on issues concerning young people, including ensuring their employment and meaningful leisure.

It was noted that more than 26 thousand representatives of the younger generation are unemployed in Kashkadarya region, and the level of entrepreneurship development in the region is significantly behind the national average.

The need for supporting youth initiatives, the allocation of additional funding within the framework of the state program “Yoshlar – kelajagimiz” (Youth – our future) was noted.

The President supported the proposal of Mubarek youth to organize an IT Park in the region, to teach free e-commerce and programming skills, and gave relevant instructions to responsible officials.

Children’s School of Music and Art in Kitab district, designed for 150 places, is attended by 310 students. Instruction was given to create decent conditions for these children.

Taking into account the high interest in sports among regional youth, the importance of building gyms in schools, increasing the number of sections in sports complexes was noted.

A student of the Uzbek State Institute of Physical Culture, Musharraf Ibodullayeva, winner of a gold medal at recent World Sambo Championships in Serbia, will be transferred to training based on a state grant.

The views of young people, students and those working in various fields were heard at the meeting. Responsible officials were given instructions on the proposals made at the meeting.

“If you ask me what my biggest goal is, what makes me happy, then I will answer: this is to form a modern worldview among young people, to provide them with work, to increase pride and faith in themselves, to see their family happiness”, said Shavkat Mirziyoyev.
