In response to an invitation extended by President Shavkat Mirziyoyev of Uzbekistan, Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim of Malaysia is scheduled to undertake an official visit the Uzbekistan from May 17 to May 19, as it was disclosed by presidential press service.
The visit, set to commence with high-level events and negotiations in the capital city of Tashken. A comprehensive agenda awaits the leaders, with discussions aimed at fostering systematic political dialogue and bolstering cultural and humanitarian exchanges between the two nations.
Furthermore, specific cooperation programs and projects in various sectors such as trade, innovation, energy, petrochemicals, industry, electrical engineering, electronics, and agriculture are slated for deliberation, underscoring the breadth and depth of the partnership.
Beyond the confines of official meetings, Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim is scheduled to embark on visits to the historic cities of Samarkand and Bukhara.
A joint business forum is also on the agenda, providing a platform for representatives from both countries to explore avenues for enhanced economic cooperation and investment opportunities.
