On October 20, at the invitation of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev, the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev paid a working visit to Turkestan region of Kazakhstan for an informal meeting of the heads of Uzbekistan, Russia and Kazakhstan.
As reported by the Press Service of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, issues of further expanding mutually beneficial cooperation between the three countries, primarily in trade-economic and cultural-humanitarian spheres were discussed at the meeting. Views were exchanged on current issues of international and regional agenda.
