On March 4, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan Abdulaziz Kamilov, who is in Doha on a working visit, met with the State Minister for Foreign Affairs of the State of Qatar Soltan bin Saad Al-Muraikhi.
According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the current state and prospects of development of bilateral cooperation, as well as international and regional issues were discussed at the meeting.
The sides supported the results of the recent inter-MFA contacts, which made it possible to focus on the priority areas of cooperation for the parties and to consider draft bilateral agreements.
Views were also exchanged on holding the first meeting of the Intergovernmental Commission on Trade, Economic, Scientific and Technical Cooperation in Tashkent.
