On March 1, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan Abdulaziz Kamilov met with Secretary General of the Cooperation Council of Turkic Speaking States (Turkic Council) Baghdad Amreyev, in Abu Dhabi.
As it was noted, the dynamic trends currently observed in activities of the Turkic Council are of considerable interest to Uzbekistan. The country is determined to be part of this process and develop mutually beneficial cooperation.
According to Uzbekistan MFA, the sides also discussed issues of holding a meeting of the Turkic Business Council and its business forum in Tashkent in 2019 on the initiative of President Shavkat Mirziyoyev.
Other issues related to interaction between Uzbekistan and the Turkic Council were also discussed at the meeting.
