Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan and UN Assistant Secretary-General discussed the implementation of the roadmap for the development of cooperation

TASHKENT, February 22. /“Dunyo” IA/. On 19 February, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan Sherzod Asadov has met with United Nations Assistant Secretary-General for Political Affairs Miroslav Jenča via videoconference, reports “Dunyo” IA correspondent.

According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan, the state and prospects of Uzbekistan's cooperation with the UN were discussed at the meeting.

Practical aspects of the implementation of President Shavkat Mirziyoyev’s initiatives, announced during the 75th Session of the UN General Assembly, as well as the implementation of the roadmap for the development of cooperation with the Organization, were considered.

The sides also exchanged views on certain international and regional issues related to the development of transport-logistics, technological and innovative interconnectedness.
