Ministers of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan and South Korea held a meeting

SEOUL, November 26. /Dunyo IA/. Yesterday, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan Abdulaziz Kamilov met with Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Korea Kang Kyung-wha, reports “Dunyo” IA correspondent.

According to Uzbekistan MFA, the Foreign Ministers discussed current issues on the bilateral agenda, considered the schedule and organizational aspects of the upcoming joint events at various levels.

The Korean side highly appreciated the dynamics of cooperation between the two countries in politics, trade, investment, finance, ICT, science and technology.

The sides noted with satisfaction the positive experience of cooperation in the fight against coronavirus infection and outlined priority areas of cooperation in overcoming the socio-economic consequences of the pandemic.

The priority nature of trade-economic and investment relations was noted. They expressed mutual interest in maintaining the previous growth dynamics and taking concrete measures to increase the volume of mutual trade.

Special attention was paid to cooperation issues in healthcare. In particular, the course of implementation of joint projects for construction of new medical institutions in Uzbekistan was considered.

The Ministers also exchanged views on international and regional issues of mutual interest.
