SEOUL, November 27. /“Dunyo” IA/. Yesterday, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan Abdulaziz Kamilov met with the Speaker of the National Assembly of the Republic of Korea Park Byeong-seug, reports “Dunyo” IA correspondent.
According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Minister congratulated Park Byeong-seug on his election as Speaker of the National Assembly of the Republic of Korea and wished him success in his responsible work.
The parties discussed issues of further development of Uzbekistan – South Korea relations of special strategic partnership.
Special attention was paid to further strengthening inter-parliamentary relations, in which the established friendship groups play a key connecting and coordinating role.
The South Korean side was informed about the implementation of the Action Strategy for Further Development of Uzbekistan, which is aimed at improving the system of public administration and judicial-legal sphere, conducting targeted social policy, liberalizing the economy and improving the investment climate.
Proposals were also considered to increase cooperation between the two countries in trade, investment, finance, education, science and medicine.
