SEOUL, November 27. /“Dunyo” IA/. Yesterday, Uzbekistan delegation led by the Minister of Foreign Affairs Abdulaziz Kamilov met with the Chairman of Korea Uzbekistan Business Association, Head of Shindong Resources Company Kim Yong-gu, in Seoul, reports “Dunyo” IA correspondent.
According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, issues of further enhancing direct contacts between Uzbekistan and South Korea businesspeople were discussed during the conversation.
It was noted that the Association, established in April 2020 under the Ministry of Industry, Trade and Energy of the Republic of Korea, is an important and key platform for development of economic cooperation and actively contributes to increasing trade between the two countries.
Special attention was paid to the implementation of mutually beneficial projects, attracting South Korean advanced technologies and direct investment in the economy of Uzbekistan.
Kim Yong-gu reaffirmed the interest of the Association's members in establishing long-term partnership with Uzbekistan.
