MILAN HOSTS THE OSCE COUNCIL OF MINISTERS OF FOREIGN AFFAIRS MEETING

On December 6-7, Italy hosted the 25th meeting of the Council of Ministers of Foreign Affairs of the Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe, in Milan.

The Council meeting, convened by the OSCE Chairperson-in-Office, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Italian Republic Enzo Moavero Milanesi, was attended by delegations from 57 OSCE member states, as well as heads of foreign ministries of other co-operation countries.

The Republic of Uzbekistan was represented by a delegation led by Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Dilshod Akhatov.

Heads of foreign affairs ministries discussed a wide range of issues included in the agenda and covering promising areas for development of interaction in the OSCE area.

According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan, the next meeting of the OSCE CMFA in 2019 will be held in Slovakia, to which the chairmanship of the organization will pass from January 1.
