Latest update on operation of the Republican HQ for the Support of Exporters and Entrepreneurs

Since May 16 this year, the Republican and local HQs for the Support of Exporters and Entrepreneurs under the Ministry of Investment and Foreign Trade operate around the clock. Their main goal is to ensure stable operation of exporters and entrepreneurs through prompt identification and solving of concerns faced by enterprises considering the negative effects of coronavirus pandemic.

As of May 23, 2020, the Headquarters received 505 appeals regarding the allocation of lending resources, prolongation of interest payments on existing loans, the accelerated return of previously paid VAT amounts, the attraction of foreign experts for installation and launch engineering equipment, assistance in processing customs documents, issuance of permits for traffic movement within the country in quarantine, the search for new foreign partners and customers, obtaining of international certificates.

Therefrom, 413 appeals were processed. All issues were promptly worked out and resolved involving relevant public authorities and commercial banks. 92 appeals are currently under review.

We invite the enterprises engaged in export activities to contact the appropriate headquarters if they need to resolve some concerns and problems that prevent their export activities.
