In accordance with the previously reached agreements, a regular meeting of Joint Uzbekistan – Kazakhstan Demarcation Commission was held in Jizzakh on June 10-14, 2019.
According to Uzbekistan MFA, at the meeting, the parties continued to work on the preparation of draft final documents on the demarcation of the interstate border, as well as exchanged views on the implementation of field demarcation activities on the section of Uzbekistan – Kazakhstan state border on dried part of the Aral Sea.
Following the negotiations, First Deputy Chairman of the State Committee for Land Resources, Geodesy, Cartography and State Cadastre of Uzbekistan Tulkin Abdullayev and Ambassador-at-large of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Kazakhstan Zulfiya Amanjolova signed a relevant protocol.
The meeting was held in a traditionally friendly atmosphere.
