TASHKENT, January 20. /“Dunyo” IA/. Yesterday, the State Committee for Veterinary Medicine and Livestock Development of Uzbekistan has held a meeting with a representative of the Embassy of Uzbekistan in Austria, which is also responsible for bilateral relations between Uzbekistan and Hungary, reports “Dunyo” IA correspondent.
Information was provided on the effective cooperation of Uzbekistan with Hungary in the development of cattle breeding, creation of livestock clusters.
Issues of establishing cooperation for the development of veterinary and animal husbandry were discussed. Views were exchanged on the creation of the joint livestock cluster in the dairy direction by Hungary’s Hunland, a farm, specializing in geese breeding with Royal Paté (total project cost newscat="%".5 million), implementation of joint projects worth million for processing of bird droppings, and others.
Hunland is implementing new projects in Navoi region’s Navbakhor district. The joint venture purchased 320 Holstein and Simmental cows in Hungary and Germany.
The committee's specialists will visit Hungary in February. During the visit, it is planned to get acquainted with cattle breeding, enterprises’ activities specializing in the production of dairy products and processing of bird droppings, as well as holding negotiations with Hungarian partners.
