BAKU, December 10. /“Dunyo” IA/. On December 7, Embassy of Uzbekistan in Azerbaijan presented the tourism potential of the country, reports “Dunyo” IA correspondent.
The event was attended by representatives of Azerbaijan Tourism Association (AZTA), as well as leading travel companies and agencies of the country AHC Travel, Ok Travel, Sputnik Travel, Point Travel, Silkway Travel, Greenwich Travel Club and My Travel.
The guests were informed about the measures taken in Uzbekistan to develop tourism. In particular, the attention of the participants in the presentation was drawn to the progress in the implementation of tasks for improving the tourism infrastructure, creating favorable conditions for foreign guests.
Representatives of Azerbaijan tourism industry got acquainted with the work carried out in Uzbekistan to promote tourism in the historical cities of Samarkand, Bukhara and Khiva. In this context, the participants proposed the joint study of issues of establishing cooperation in organizing pilgrim tourism to Uzbekistan.
