TASHKENT, December 1. /“Dunyo” IA/. A working group led by Deputy Prime Minister of Uzbekistan Sardor Umurzakov visited Ferghana region to study current state of investment and foreign trade activities as well as industrial development of the region, reports “Dunyo” IA correspondent.
According to the MIFT, in a videoconference with local authorities of regional, city and district levels of Ferghana region in charge of investment and foreign trade, members of the Government Commission on Foreign Trade, Investments, Local Industry Development and Technical Regulation Commission as well as representatives of the Cabinet of Ministers, issues on implementation of regional investment program, putting into operation and ensuring stable functioning of large industrial facilities, development of perspective industries and promotion of export capacity were discussed.
The progress in practical implementation of the new system of investment attraction and export promotion, interaction with local entrepreneurs and providing support for the expansion of production and implementation of new investment projects was reviewed. Detailed instructions on the effective application of new mechanisms were given and specific issues identified during the work with entrepreneurs were studied.
