The second meeting of the Sub-Commission on Culture of the Intergovernmental Commission on Economic Cooperation between Uzbekistan and Russia has been held via videoconference.
The delegations were headed by Deputy Minister of Culture of Uzbekistan Kamola Akilova and Deputy Minister of Culture of Russia Maxim Ksenzov, the Ministry of Culture reports.
Maxim Ksenzov noted that Uzbekistan, as a close partner of Russia, always arouses the interest of Russians with its rich culture.
During the talks, the Russian side invited representatives of Uzbekistan to take part in the International Festival “Intermuseum-2021”, in Russia.
At the meeting, the parties exchanged views on the state and prospects for development of cooperation between Russia and Uzbekistan in culture and agreed in a spirit of partnership, mutual trust, tolerance, mutually beneficial cooperation to continue to comprehensively deepen exchanges and cooperation in the cultural field for the benefit of peoples of the two countries.
