As part of the business trip, our representatives met with the Deputy Secretary General of the International Organization of Turkic Culture (TURKSOY) Sayit Yusuf. During the conversation, which took place in a sincere and friendly atmosphere, special attention was paid to the vital role of Uzbekistan in the activities of this international organization. The issue of cooperation with the institute was considered, and an agreement was reached on the gradual translation of our literature on the art of maqom, katta ashula, and bakhshi into Turkish. The opening of a scientific Cultural Intelligence Laboratory at the institute and the organization of internships for 10 professors and teachers were also discussed.
“Our organization works to promote the culture, art, and lifestyle of member states around the world”, said Deputy Secretary General of TURKSOY Sayit Yusuf in an interview with UzA. “The role of Uzbekistan in this process is invaluable. From this point of view, one of our main tasks is to introduce the world to the history and culture of your country”.
During the conversation, the idea of opening a separate center for compiling a rating of higher education institutions in the culture and art of countries included in the Organization was also put forward. The need to expand the schedule of international forums and cultural events and further develop ties in art was emphasized.
