Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- One of the largest and most expensive treasures in the history of mankind, the Kushan gold, was found on the territory of Afghanistan. Today it is kept in the collection of the National Museum.

During the upcoming negotiations with Dr. Rahimi, the World Society for the Study, Preservation and Popularization of the Cultural Heritage of Uzbekistan plans to reach an agreement on the publication of a book-album dedicated to such artifacts from Afghanistan, which are our common cultural heritage, such as the gold of the Kushan kings.

Today, Kushan gold is kept in the National Museum of Kabul, and now we have the opportunity to gain access to research into the invaluable collection of treasures that unites the states located on the territory of the former grandiose Kushan kingdom.

It should be noted that the director of the National Museum of Kabul, Dr. Mohammad Fahim Rahimi, is expected to participate in the upcoming 5th anniversary Congress of the World Society for the Study, Preservation and Popularization of the Cultural Heritage of Uzbekistan, which will take place in September 2021.
