Collaboration in the banking and financial sector discussed in Vienna

During the talks, an agreement was reached on organizing master classes and courses for Uzbekistan specialists in the banking and financial sector.

 

At the meeting, the parties exchanged views on expanding and strengthening ties between the Austrian bank and Uzbekistan financial institutions. Promising areas of mutually beneficial cooperation were discussed, including the possibility of Raiffeisen Bank’s participation in privatization of banks in the country as a strategic investor.

 

Łukasz Januszewski highly appreciated the large-scale reforms in the banking sector being carried out in Uzbekistan.

 

The Austrian side also expressed interest in developing cooperation in the debt capital market.
