TASHKENT, February 18. /“Dunyo” IA/. The Central Bank of the Republic of Uzbekistan has held a meeting with representatives of the CIS Financial and Banking Council, reports “Dunyo” IA correspondent.
The parties discussed a promising program of cooperation with financial institutions of Russia. It was noted that the CIS Financial and Banking Council is currently implementing several strategic programs, both financial and social, that are important for the development of the integration process in the Commonwealth countries. Commercial banks of Uzbekistan are also involved in the implementation of these projects.
At the meeting, the parties discussed the issue of the preparation for the International Financial and Banking Forum of the CIS countries, which is to be held in Tashkent in June this year. The representatives of the delegation also touched upon the possibility of further enhancing cooperation between financial institutions.
