CERR: Shavkat Mirziyoyev used a total of 3644 words in his congratulations

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Experts of the Center for Economic Research and Reforms (CERR) conducted a linguistic content analysis of the speech of the President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev at the celebrations dedicated to the 30th anniversary of Uzbekistan’s Independence. Using a cloud of words, analysts determined what the head of state focused on the most.

Today, on 31 August 2021 a festive event in honor of the 30th anniversary of Independence of Uzbekistan was held in the Yangi Uzbekiston park, at which the President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev spoke.

The head of state noted that in recent years, the foundation of a new era of revival - the Third Renaissance - has been laid in Uzbekistan.

Analysis of the President’s speech (from the original language) showed that President Shavkat Mirziyoyev used a total of 3644 words in his congratulations.

Most often, the President mentioned such words as “Yangi Ozbekiston” (new Uzbekistan), “talim” (education) and “yurtimizda” (in the country), “iqtisodiy” (economic), milli (national), “hamkorlik” (cooperation) , "Islohotlar" (reforms).

In particular, the word "Uzbekiston" (Uzbekistan) was mentioned 28 times, 40 times the word "yangi" (new) and 33 times "davlat" (state), 19 times "mamlakatimiz" (our country), 16 times "talim" (education), 14 times “yurtimizda” (in our country), 11 times the word “iqtisodiy” (economic) was mentioned as many times the word “milli” (national) was said.

An analysis of the distribution of words by directions showed that the emphasis was placed as follows, most of the President’s speech was focused on education issues, then he most often talked about economics and security.

The head of state covered a variety of topics in many areas. Among them, the most pressing topics were also pandemic, international relations, sports, health and elections.

On 31 August 1991, an extraordinary 7th session of the Supreme Council of the Uzbek SSR was held in Tashkent, at which the state independence of Uzbekistan was proclaimed.
