TASHKENT, August 18. /“Dunyo” IA/. Yesterday, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Uzbekistan to Lithuania with residence in Riga Kadambay Sultanov has presented his credentials to the President of Lithuania Gitanas Nausėda, reports “Dunyo” IA correspondent.
According to Uzbekistan MFA, the President of Lithuania positively assessed the political dialogue between Vilnius and Tashkent and the tendencies in the development of trade and economic cooperation.
The President of Lithuania noted that Vilnius highly appreciates the ongoing reforms in Uzbekistan, the results of which are welcomed by all countries of the European Union.
An opinion was expressed that the planned signing of the Enhanced Partnership and Cooperation Agreement will significantly intensify the comprehensive partnership between Uzbekistan and the EU.
