Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) - The Art and Culture Development Foundation and the Grace architectural bureau (Milan) have begun developing a strategy and roadmap for the preservation and adaptation of modernist architecture in Tashkent.
The team assembled by the Foundation and Grace Bureau consists of experts in the restoration of modernist monuments, historians of architecture and culture, as well as urbanists. Their task is to lead and coordinate research and project work.
The work will be carried out on the basis of research and study of international experience in the field of preservation of the architecture of the twentieth century.
