First university, which will take the opportunity to improve the system of assessing for students will become Tashkent State Law University.

Currently in the Republic it has been established a unified regulation of assessing for students on rating system. It was said about this system first in 2013 in connection with the beginning of improving the educational process in high school and introduction it in the system of modular training.

According to the news agency Uzbekistan Today, now students of Law University are required to undergo through all 3 types of knowledge control - daily, intermediate, final. In other universities the student can not be admitted to the final work, if he/she does not get enough scores by the end of the daily and intermediate control.

Soon the university will approve its own condition on assessment. It includes additional rules that enhance the objectivity of the evaluation. In particular, there much attention has been paid to the rules of delivery and assessment of written work. They will be checked by teacher-evaluator in encrypted form without specifying name and surname of the student.

Other universities will benefit from the same right only if in respect of them the government regulatory act will be adopted, according to which a college, university or academy will begin implementation of modular training system.
