IA "Jahon" - The developers of the Tashkent Institute of Textile and Light Industry invented a method for producing bi-component yarn of mixed fibers, which is important in the textile industry.

The new method comprises blending natural fibers and obtaining yarn with a density of 20 tack. As the use of natural fibers and wool fiber non-chopped tow filature, which are mixed by forming alternating layers of flooring wool fibers and silk, and worsted system technology of wool spinning fibers form a yarn with linear density of more than 15 tack. The fibers have been taken with the following ratio, wt. %: Wool fibers - 55-75; tow filature 25-45. As the result a bi-component yarn of mixed fibers with improved quality and extended range has been created, reports the Agency on Intellectual Property of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
